When Qatar Airways launched their new service from Birmingham International Airport, they threw a huge banquet at the Birmingham City Council Houses, with live performances from the CBSO String Quartet and local star Jamelia.

Marco Pierre White launched a brand new conferencing and banqueting facility on the bottom floor of Birmingham's 'The Cube' complex. The facility is called CanalSide, and before the party started, the room had to be photographed for the upcoming brochure.
