The National Memorial Arboretum stage a candle lit carol service each year at heroes square in the recently build rememberance centre in Alrewas, Staffordshire.

For another year, GEM 106FM provided local acts to supply entertainment to the main stage at Leicester's Abbey Park Fireworks Spectacular. 25,000 people were in attendance to enjoy music, dance and fireworks.
